🍬 Sugar-Free Gummy Bears RUINED My College Exam 🤣💩
Some stories hit your soul.
Some stories teach you a lesson.
And some stories… leave you questioning every life decision that led you to eat sugar-free candy before a final exam.
Today’s Gummy Bears segment is the legendary tale of Haribo Sugar-Free Gummy Bears vs. One College Student’s Colon — and we are still recovering.
This viral Amazon review has lived rent-free on the Internet for nearly a decade, and for good reason: it is a masterpiece of comedy, catastrophe, and gastrointestinal warfare. And on the show, Jackie brought it to life with a dramatic reading that nearly sent both of us to the floor.
Because when gummy bears attack… they show no mercy. 😭💥
😂 How an Exam Turned Into Bathroom Horror
Let’s set the scene.
It’s finals week — AKA the Hunger Games of college.
Our unlucky storyteller stays up late studying, sleeps in, and grabs the first thing he sees at the campus bookstore: two bags of Haribo Sugar-Free Gummy Bears, buy-one-get-one-free.
A deal so good… it was evil.
He happily chews his gummy treats on the way to class, totally unaware that these tiny rainbow bears contain a forbidden ingredient: sugar alcohols — AKA the digestive destroyer.
Once the exam begins, the bears awaken.
At first, a soft tingle.
Then, a sharp twist.
Then… the rumble.
He describes it like his stomach was “warning him of the approaching darkness.”
By question 14, the situation becomes biblical.
“The burning, hot, liquidy dark magic crashed against my sphincter like a tidal wave.”
He freezes in terror. He can’t even shift his weight without risking total annihilation. Sweat pours. Students stare. The professor keeps speaking but nothing matters except evacuating the demon bears.
With 15 questions left, he circles “C” for every answer and sprints out of the room in a full panic waddle.
The moment he reaches the bathroom, the heavens part, the handicap stall is open, and sunlight beams in like divine rescue.
What happens next is… indescribable.
But he tried:
“It took absolutely no effort to expel this demon. The damned liquified souls of an entire bag’s worth of gummy bears cried as they burned through my sphincter…”
Thirty minutes later, he goes home, digs a hole in his backyard, and burns the second bag. As one should.
He ends with a warning to humanity:
Never eat these spawns of Satan. Ever.
🎙 On the Show: We Tried to Keep It Together… We Failed
Kashmir’s dramatic reading had both of us:
🤣 cry-laughing
😳 flinching in sympathy
💀 questioning every sugar-free product in our pantry
You can hear the fear in the author’s words.
You can feel the stomach cramps.
And you absolutely cannot make any of this up.
This story is everything we love: chaotic, unhinged, and relatable in the “I once made a terrible snack decision” kind of way.
🎓 A Lesson for All Students (and Adults)
If you take nothing else from this blog post, let it be this:
Never trust a sugar-free gummy bear.
Not before class.
Not before work.
Not before a date.
Not before anything important.
These bears do not want to be your friend.
